Collections Process and Foreclosures

April 16 • 6:00 - 8:00 PM • Arvada Office
April 23 • 6:00 - 8:00 PM • Fort Collins Office

What really happens when you turn an account over to our collection or foreclosure departments?  In this session, we’ll focus on showing you the “behind the scenes” view of a collection and foreclosure file once it leaves your hands and lands in ours.  We’ll discuss deadlines, legal requirements, and what can, and sometimes does, go wrong.  This session will provide you with basic knowledge about the life of a collection and foreclosure file so that status reports are no longer foreign documents.

Covenant Enforcement Process and Pitfalls

February 18 • 6:00 - 8:00 PM • Fort Collins Office
October 15 • 6:00 - 8:00 PM • Fort Collins Office

With more and more owners failing to comply with association covenants, it is important for board members to be aware of their enforcement options.  It is equally important to be knowledgeable of the covenant enforcement “no-no’s” that tend to get associations in trouble.  We will discuss the importance of having a good enforcement policy and procedure in place, the enforcement and architectural review processes, and when to get legal counsel involved.
