In this day and age, are there really any communities out there who have not been approached by a resident wishing to keep assistance animal?  Sometimes it’s an easy decision:  the seeing-eye dog, the hearing impaired assistance dog, etc.  But other times, the answer is not an obvious one.  What do you do when a resident seeks an accommodation to have the emotional assistance cat or the therapeutic horse?  Attend this session to learn more about this growing phenomenon and get the ground rules on responding to these types of requests.
