The City of Arvada’s Neighborhood Grant program is designed to help neighbors improve their neighborhoods and better connect with each other.  There are two grants available:

Know Your Neighbor Grants are $100 grants for improving neighborhood relations/communication with things such as clean ups, holiday celebrations, block parties, etc.  These grants are awarded on a first come basis until the funding is depleted.  Applications can be submitted any time after January 1, 2014.

Neighborhood Improvement Grants are more substantial and are geared towards physical improvements, programs and activities. These grants can be up to $10,000, and they must involve neighbors working together and a match by the owners of at least 25% of the project costs.  Applications for these grants are being accepted NOW and must be received by March 24, 2014.

More information is available on the City of Arvada’s website.  There are also two informational meetings on December 12 and January 15.
